It was released as a single from Dan + Shay's forthcoming fourth studio album on October 4, 2019. It was released four days after Justin and Hailey Baldwin's wedding, which was held in South Carolina on September 30. It was written by Dan Smyers, Shay Mooney, and Bieber, and produced solely by Smyers. The song debuted at number four on the US Billboard Hot 100.
