I have had a song stuck in my head for about two or three years. I only have a small bit of the refrain that I can remember. No one that I have asked seems to remember this song. I’ll tell you what I remember.

It was released in the mid 60’s and was frequently played on WQOK. It was a country crossover. A woman sang it. The hook line was …where the red roses grow. The line went something like:

Let’s go down in (or to) the valley where the red roses grow. Da da da in the valley where the red roses grow.
