Armin van Buuren is a Dutch DJ, record producer, and remixer who was born in Leiden, Netherlands on December 25, 1976. He began his career in music as a DJ and quickly gained a following in the trance music scene in the late 1990s and early 2000s. Van Buuren went on to release numerous successful albums and singles, including the hit song “This Is What It Feels Like.” He has won numerous awards for his work, including five consecutive wins for the prestigious DJ Magazine Top 100 DJs poll. He is considered one of the most influential DJs in the world and often performs at major festivals and events. Van Buuren is also known for his weekly radio show “A State of Trance” which has millions of listeners from around the world. He has also been involved in philanthropic work, including supporting initiatives to combat child trafficking.
