Hi All,

I am looking for a song, it sounds like Alanis Morisette / Cat Power. In the song there is a basic strumming acoustic guitar that leads. Sounds like it is 90's early 2000's. Pretty sure it is a woman singing. These are the wrong lyrics but this is what it kind of sounded like to me - the lyrics are something like:

'Well Didn't I have to tell you that I wanted you to stay
To fade my life away...'

Think this is how the song starts, the 'wanted' and 'fade' are held for a longer time to rhyme a bit if that makes sense
