Figured it out. “Beat of a Slow Dance” by Musiq Soulchild (2023).

Actually, I figured it out shortly after I posted the question. My lyric was wrong. It should have been “like a slow dance” not slow jam. The song I was looking for is “Beat of a Slow Dance”, by Musiq Soulchild (2023). more »
