Challenge: Who is the artist/ song name based on parts I can remember

I remember it's a rap, possibly a Minnesotan rapper, about his life as a child growing up and learning through angst and anxiety. Figuring pieces of life out when no one told him how.

I want to say it popped up as a similar song from an old Pandora account with Doomtree, and Atmosphere as the main groups.

It starts off with the beat in the background, he starts to talk/rap in a soft speaking tone, then gets more and more passionate until the end. It sounds like he was just talking lyrics with some passion.

There's one point about young love. Where he wrote a note to a girl in school, but he tore it up into 500 pieces (not sure the # he said) but he still worried his feeling would be found out. That his emotions would be uncovered somehow.

It was years ago that I heard it, the combined lyrics resonated but I can't for the life of me remember much more. more »
