| A lot of people say no, as does Yoko. However, were it not for her influence on John, the Beatles would have continued to have made good music together. |

I have to disagree, I_could_be_nice, The Beatles extend far beyond their generation. I am a 90's child, and I enjoy The Beatles as much as my father did before me. It's all a matter of perspective. You should not be so quick to judge.
And, Alex, I fall into the "I am not sure what happened, but I am devastated at the loss of amazing music" category. |

I don't think she broke them up.
She didn't have the power to do that.
When people blame it on her, they should really be blaming it on John, but Yoko is so much easier to pick on.
I'm not even saying John was entirely responsible.
I'm saying there's no way in Hell that Yoko could personally have broken up The Beatles. |

| You make an interesting point, Snail. The fact that one person could not have the power to destroy a group like The Beatles is a very well-made observation. |

| i have to agree, the Beatles were and still to this day one of the best bands of all time, they have infuenced so many, from their work so many new bands were brought forth. and saying that Yoko had the power to destroy that is so extremely farfetched. |
