Vocalist Dee Stone and guitarist Charles Wright have released a debut album "Live...From the Bedroom."

While this is the first duo project for the husband and wife songwriting team, the couple worked together for a number of years in the Dee Stone Band, a funk/rock unit. Dee and Charles recently married and began performing as an acoustic/electric power duo. When the idea of putting together a new cd came up, they decided to record the entire project in their home studio, in the bedroom. The obvious title for the album: "Live...From the Bedroom."

The lead track, "Right There," has already received airplay on KUVO in Colorado, and on several internet radio stations. On September 4, the couple was featured in an interview on North Country Public Radio.

The new album is a fresh collection of funky, earthy, energetic songs with catchy melodies, spirited guitar work, and mind-expanding lyrics. Vocally, it's a sexy, soulful blend of jazz, pop, rock, and spoken word. The new cd is available at CDBaby.com, IndieRhythm.com, and Amazon MP3.

Stone/Wright will be performing at the Green Festival at the Convention Center in Washington, DC, on October 11. They also have a showcase performance at the Baltimore Music Conference on October 14.
