Looking for a song that I remember my mum playing on a 45" single many times, All i can say is that I thought it was called Same Old Story, maybe its just those lyrics are in it, I seem to have a recollection of some verse being about "in the sand". . .then "It's the same old story". I'm pretty sure it was a 70's song, it has a similar vibe to it like "Billy Don't be a Hero" by Paper Lace. Can anyone help or have any suggestions? I also have some memory of Long John Baldry but I think I'm just getting the two mixed up as I cant find any song like that from him.more »
